I’m Eli, and I’m glad you’re here. I’m an American satirist and frequent contributor to The New Yorker and McSweeney's Internet Tendency. I was once a staff writer for The Tonight Show. Sign up below to read my latest humor. Nothing will cure me from reading the news—I’m hoping this does:

With Here’s Something, I publish original topical satire every week—usually on Wednesday, but sometimes on Thursday. Part catharsis and part diagnosis, these pieces are meant to peel back the layers of our political, environmental, economic, and cultural landscape—and uncover the absurdity brewing inside. It’s a comical house of horrors, and the only way out is through.

I have a book of satire coming out in October called This Won’t Help. It’s available for preorder right now! I’m hoping it ends up on at least one banned book list.
